To the Editor;

I would like to congratulate you on the anniversary of the Manning community news. It is a great asset to the local community and long may it survive.

Every edition has had worthwhile reading. I especially enjoyed “We’ve been done like a dinner” and “American style medicare. No thanks”.

I have been a medical academic for many years and have taught many medical and science students.

Both articles highlight the need for the community to be aware of the changes that are being made to our society that undermine our right to have a say in managing our community and our country.

Anyway congratulations again.
