Dear Di,

Thank you for the diverse community newspaper that you publish. I found the articles edifying and heartfelt. I also totally agree with the sentiments, and facts, relayed in the article ‘Welcome to Wingham’.

We stayed overnight at the Wingham free camp where Ron came and welcomed us. Ron pointed out the scenic beauty of the Ellenborough Falls and we found it to be a magical trip through the mists and lush forests. While we are not in the $300,000 league of vans, we enjoy free camps exactly because of the lack of swimming pools, jumping pillows and castles and kids playgrounds. We spent our weekly allowance in Wingham, purchased the weeks groceries, tank of fuel and the obligatory visit to a good coffee shop.

We are thankful for towns like yours that welcome RV’s and will continue to support these over high end caravan parks anytime.
