You are invited to attend a one-day workshop, sponsored by LLS Hunter and presented by MOGG (Manning Organic Gardening Group). The workshop has been made possible through a Community Education Grant provided by Hunter LLS with funding from the Australian Government’s National Landcare Program.
Saturday 9 April 2016, 9.30 am – 3.30pm
Killabakh Hall, 1676 Comboyne Rd, Killabakh NSW 2429
There will be presentations by two nationally-known speakers:
Jeremy BRADLEY, a multi award winner for innovation in farming practices, will be sharing his secrets for speeding up topsoil creation, his own recipe for soil enrichment, benefits of compost tea, and much more.
Jack WATERMAN, creator of his own recipe for Ekihi liquid fertiliser, will be sharing his recipe and demonstrating how to create a low-cost stable organic fertiliser. Each participant will receive a sample of concentrate to take home to make up 2 litres of fertiliser.
Knowledge gained in the workshop will help gardeners, growers and landholders to inexpensively build and improve soil; increase livestock health, performance and profitability; and improve nutrient uptake from soil.
The technique, based on Bokashi/Ekihi EM technology originally developed in Japan, is a time-tested and proven method of DIY low-cost soil building and creation of natural organic liquid fertiliser.
